Minnesota traded him to Philadelphia in 1977, and the Flyers sent him to St. Louis with Rick Lapointe in the deal for Phil Myre. St. Louis is where his career turned. In 1980-81 he put up 20 goals and 67 assists for 87 points, and the NHL awarded him the Bill Masterton Memorial Trophy that spring for perseverance and dedication to hockey, the same trophy pictured on the back of this card six years earlier.
