He was named to the second All-Star team in the Central League while with Tulsa in the 1973-74 season, and he was one of the tallest defensemen in the NHL at 6'3\". His only goal in 1974-75 produced a tie for the Flames. He played 3 games for Atlanta in 1973-74 and 50 in 1974-75, and through that season his NHL totals stood at 53 games played, 1 goal, 11 assists, 12 points and 39 penalty minutes.\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp dir=\"ltr\"\u003eThe Atlanta Flames entered the NHL as an expansion team in 1972 and played eight seasons in Georgia before the franchise relocated to Calgary in 1980.
