He was a six time first team All-Pro and six time Pro Bowl selection, played in four Super Bowls, and was named to the NFL 1960s All-Decade Team. The Vikings retired his number 53 and he was inducted into the Pro Football Hall of Fame in 2015, presented by his longtime quarterback Fran Tarkenton.
