In the NHL he played for the Pittsburgh Penguins, Toronto Maple Leafs, Hartford Whalers and New York Rangers. He led the NHL in goals in 1979-80 with 56, tying Danny Gare and Charlie Simmer for the goal-scoring title and finishing the season with 100 points, then scored 52 more in 1981-82. In the WHA he played for the Cincinnati Stingers, Indianapolis Racers and New England Whalers, and his 52 goals for the Stingers in 1976-77 tied for the team lead. He joined the Cyclones as an assistant coach at the start of the 1990s and moved on to the AHL's Springfield Indians for 1993-94.\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp dir=\"ltr\"\u003eThe 1992-93 season was the Cyclones' first in the International Hockey League.
