He also set a record with a reception in 177 consecutive games. Largent was a seven time Pro Bowl selection and won the Walter Payton NFL Man of the Year Award in 1988. Seattle retired his number 80, and he was inducted into the Pro Football Hall of Fame in 1995 in his first year of eligibility.
