Description
This Jefferson Nickel was struck twice in the press. The first strike is centered; the second strike occurred with the planchet mis-aligned approximately 95 % off-center. As a result, a crescent of duplicated obverse detail overlaps the rim, while the reverse shows only the original centered strike, creating a uniface second impression. Certified MS 63 by ANACS, the coin retains Mint State luster alongside the dramatic error features documented on the holder.
