This is the numbered version of the Crusade Signature, limited to 99 copies, with the etched white lazer pattern cutting across the shield in place of the standard foil. The signature is a bold blue autograph on the signature panel, guaranteed by Panini on the back. The serial stamp sits at the bottom center of the back.

Wally Szczerbiak was one of the best pure shooters of his era. He spent four years at Miami of Ohio and dropped 43 points on Washington in the 1999 NCAA tournament to push the RedHawks into the Sweet Sixteen, a performance that moved him up draft boards in a hurry. Minnesota took him sixth overall that summer.

The peak came in Minnesota. In 2001-02 he averaged 18.7 points and shot 45.5 percent from three, a number almost nobody has matched at that volume, and he made the All Star team that season alongside Kevin Garnett. Seven seasons with the Wolves were followed by stops in Boston, Seattle and Cleveland, and he moved into broadcasting after retiring. Early 2000s Timberwolves pieces carry along with the Garnett era audience, which is a larger group than the name alone suggests.
