White, who held that office from 1989 to 1994, and the RO-N cushioned cork center stamping. It comes with a Certificate of Authenticity from The Score Board, Inc. of Cherry Hill, New Jersey, signed by Ken Goldin as President, Chairman and CEO, stating the item was signed under Score Board supervision. Included is the clear ball holder and wood display base with an engraved plaque reading HANK AARON 755 CAREER HOME RUNS. The ball has been in the same collection since the late 1990s. The Score Board was founded in the late 1980s by Paul and Ken Goldin and became one of the largest sports memorabilia companies in the country, holding exclusive signing contracts with players including Aaron. Ken Goldin left the company in 1997 and later founded Goldin Auctions.

Hank Aaron was born February 5, 1934 in Mobile, Alabama and started his professional career with the Indianapolis Clowns of the Negro American League before signing with the Boston Braves organization in 1952. He played 23 major league seasons, 21 with the Braves in Milwaukee and Atlanta plus two with the Milwaukee Brewers. On April 8, 1974 he hit his 715th home run off Al Downing of the Dodgers to pass Babe Ruth, and he finished with 755. He still holds the career records for runs batted in with 2,297 and total bases with 6,856, was NL MVP in 1957, won a World Series with Milwaukee that same year, and was selected to 25 All-Star Games. He was inducted into the Baseball Hall of Fame in 1982 on 97.8 percent of the ballot and died January 22, 2021.
